Dom advises on all aspects of family law, including high-value and cross-border financial matters arising from divorce, complex disputes concerning the arrangements for children and international surrogacy.
He has a particular specialism in tracing assets globally, dealing with claims where one party has failed to make proper disclosure of their assets, and advising clients from the music and wider entertainment industry.
Prior to becoming a family lawyer, Dom spent 8 years in the music industry working with major artists, labels and live events. His knowledge of the industry and experience working with individuals in the public eye makes him uniquely placed to advise clients with that background. This experience was particularly valuable in his work on the case of CB v KB, which provided the current guidance on how to deal with the valuation of music-related income streams on divorce.
Dom has also contributed to the Financial Remedies Journal, recently publishing a calculator to put into practice the Court’s current guidance on how child maintenance should be calculated.
