Ribet Myles celebrates first homegrown solicitor
This month we’re delighted to be congratulating Olivia Plummer as she qualifies as a solicitor. Olivia joined us back in 2021 as a paralegal and was part of a significant moment in our firm’s history when we offered her our first ever training contract.
Olivia qualified as a solicitor on 18th December and we’d like to congratulate her on this fantastic achievement in her career. Over the last two years, Olivia has worked closely with the Ribet Myles team as well as on secondment with Corker Binning, gaining valuable experience in the field of criminal law. We are absolutely delighted that she will be our first homegrown solicitor and are proud to share in this success as an important milestone for our firm.
Two years ago we were proud to be authorised by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority to train new solicitors within our first year of trading. To have the opportunity to train the family law solicitors of the future is something we value highly and the role they will go on to play in the lives of clients and their families is one that can have a significant impact, as Alistair Myles, founding partner explains:
“In family law, you deal directly with people. This interaction with individuals and what they want to achieve has a real impact on them and their future lives. Often in family law, clients come to you in distressing circumstances. As a family lawyer, you try to resolve matters so that your client can move onto their next stage of life as happily as possible.”
Here at Ribet Myles, we’re committed to investing in the future of our industry. As experts in family law, we work hard to deliver the best possible advice, solving our client’s problems quickly and cost-effectively. Find out more about the team and the work we do get in touch here.
