We are delighted to announce that Ribet Myles LLP has been recognised as one of England and Wales’ leading family law firms. Both of the UK’s independent guides to the legal profession - The Chambers UK Solicitors’ Guide and The Legal 500 United Kingdom Guide - have listed the firm as a leading family law practice.
Chambers and Partners is a global independent research company operating across 200 jurisdictions and has been ranking and providing insight into the world’s leading lawyers for over 30 years. As part of its research, the Chambers Guide (Chambers) creates rankings from its research arm, conducted by 200 Research Analysts across 200 jurisdictions, providing nearly 6,000 rankings tables. Annually the Chambers team collects hundreds of thousands of responses from clients, the majority via in-depth interviews.
Chambers describes us as a “recently established firm with a wealth of expertise in domestic and international family matters. The team's experience encompasses leave to remove and financial remedy disputes. Two of our founding partners, Julian Ribet and Alistair Myles are singled out for praise. The guide says “he demonstrates further experience in ancillary relief cases involving bankruptcy claims.” One of the interviewees said "He is very bright, has good experience and is very affable while also being a formidable opponent."
The third founding partner of Ribet Myles, Laura Geraghty is listed by the Chambers High Net Worth Guide for her expertise, highlighting her expertise across a range of family matters including divorce and related financial matters. She is described as being "incredibly thorough. She is very, very good with her clients and has a really good feel for cases."
In addition to praise from the Chambers Guide, Ribet Myles has been singled out by The Legal 500 in its Firm to Watch category. Founding partners Julian and Alistair are both recognised by The Legal 500 as Leading Individuals amongst their family law counterparts.
